We have several speakers and presentations on local, state and national progressive issues on our agenda this month that include:
- A presentation and a discussion of the new introduced bill by Assembly member Ken Cooley AB 597
- We will have a video and presentation on the Trans Pacific Partnership (TPP) and how to raise the issue to our local representatives in Congress. Our guest speakers will include an activist from SEIU local1000 and a leading officer from the Central Labor Council; to shed some light on the issue
- Arden Arcade Affordable Housing Project, is it a CEQA issue or just angry neighbors?
We will have both sides of the argument, Sacramento Housing Alliance and Advocates for Arden Arcade; present their case at our meeting.

Additional agenda items will include an update on our endorsed candidate for Twin Rivers School District, Basim Elkarra, and his campaign to take back the district for public education advocates.
