Action Item A - Turnout for June 16th Fundraiser Event - with Toni Watkins from New Georgia Project
Action Item B - Bylaw changes will be reviewed and finalized at Board meeting 6/8/21 and then sent out
to membership and vote on at July General Meeting
General order of operations:
- President, Vice President, and Recording Secretary maintain records and calendar events
- Legislative Committee analyzes policies and makes recommendations to General Membership
- Political Committee analyzes candidates and makes recommendations to General Membership
- Finance raises and spends funds, while Correspondence promotes our events / causes
- General members volunteer and join endorsed campaigns / causes

As the State starts to reopen, how do our members feel about in person meetings?
How can we continue to build community so that we can sustain the important work of getting progressives elected and holding our representatives accountable?

Fundraiser Event coming up for Wellstone! Save the date and invite your friends!
June 16th
6:00 - 7:30 PM
Toni Watkins, Deputy Organizing Director for the New Georgia Project, will discuss the recent victories and on-going attacks on voting rights in Georgia and what we can learn and do going forward.
This is a fundraiser for Wellstone and the proceeds will be used to support local progressive candidates. Please donate and register today, and please be generous if you are able.
Suggested donation:
$15 - standard ticket
$27 - Bernie friend
Whatever you can give (more or less) than the suggested amount will be put to good use for upcoming campaigns.
