Happy New Year's to all! So happy to be done with 2020 and even though Trump is
out, there is still plenty of work to be done in our Democratic Party.
Our own Magali Kincaid will be speaking on how to make change in our Schools
This year, everyone will be encouraged to join one of our committees, where we
actually do the work of our club:
Political Affairs
Legislative Affairs
Communications
Fundraising

ADEM elections are rapidly coming up again! These elections are held every 2 years to elect 1/3 of the delegates to the CA Democratic Party. Most people don't know about these elections but they are important if we want to change and influence our CA Democratic Party leadership, platform, and hold our elected representatives and candidates accountable. Because of Covid, elections will be done by mail in ballot. You must register by January 11th if you want to vote and get a ballot. You must be a registered Democrat in order to vote (but you can register as a Democrat prior to requesting your ballot). Go to adem.cadem.org to register (it is easier to do so from a computer verses your phone.) You will get an confirmation email with your own unique voter ID number that you will need to put on your mail in ballot when you get it. Ballots will be mailed in January and as soon as you get it, it is recommended that you vote and mail it back ASAP since ballots must be received by January 27th to be counted. In these party elections, every vote is important since not very many people participate. Several Wellstone members are running in these elections and we hope that you will support them. Please register for your ballot today!
